G20 protests hit London and NATO not allowed to celebrate their 60th in peace

Last week the G20 leaders met in London to discuss the economic crisis, and how much of the public’s money they were going to plough into the financial institutions that are responsible for this hole mess in the first place. They were meet by thousands who had far more important issues to raise, such as climate change, border controls and war. On the 1st of April crowds descended on the Bank of England as part of G20 Meltdown (IMC reports). The city centre was brought to a stand still and two banks had their windows smashed.

A few days later NATO were attempting to celebrate their 60th year of military supremacy in the French city of Strasbourg. Tens of thousands flooded the city to protest through a diversity of tactics and to stop NATO celebrating in quietly (pictures on IMC 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9).
